A space for the humans inside healthcare.

They comfort patients, support families, study late into the night, work long shifts, and carry responsibilities that most people never see. Kat's Scrubs was created to celebrate, support, and give a voice to the people behind healthcare.

The name comes from a personal story. Growing up, family called the founder "Kitty" for her lifelong love of cats. As she got older, Kitty became Kat — and when she started building something of her own, she named it Kat's Scrubs. Throughout her journey in healthcare, she experienced many of the challenges that students and professionals often face in silence: anxiety, depression, burnout, self-doubt, and the pressure to keep going even when things felt difficult. She realized that while we spend so much time caring for others, we don't always create space to care for ourselves. What started as a scrub brand soon became something more meaningful.

Through personal stories, interviews, and community conversations, this space explores the realities that rarely make it into a CV. Because every healthcare professional has a story worth telling.

Healthcare can be deeply meaningful work. It can also be exhausting in ways that are difficult to name. Many students and professionals struggle quietly with challenges that aren't visible beneath the scrubs.
