Daisy grew up in Lagos, the eldest of four. She learned that some struggles can't be outworked, and learned to rest only after the night she stitched a stranger's hand while her own trembled. Between rounds, she writes letters she never sends — to her younger self, to the patient in bed 12, to the version of her that still believed medicine would feel like she imagined.
